Traditionally, most individuals who have an electrician degree work in construction. But as technology and design advances, new opportunities are constantly arising. Electricians commonly become experienced via apprenticeships, where they receive meticulous on-the-job training. Most states require electricians to be licensed, though requirements vary. A master electrician is someone who has been a practicing electrician for at least 7 years.
