Earn an MBA with a concentration in Six Sigma at Southern New Hampshire University
Students earning their master's in business administration (MBA) at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) can now take advantage of a new program that allows them to concentrate in Six Sigma Quality.
Six Sigma is a management strategy used to make products as perfect as possible, says General Electric. The program seeks to minimize defects by focusing on operations, design and several aspects of the customer experience.
The new SNHU program allows MBA students to prepare for their Six Sigma Black Belt certification, one of the highest levels found in the management strategy. Courses taught by seasoned professionals cover subjects such as business case study analysis, computer technology, quality management approaches, statistical tools and quality improvement. By learning the tenets of Six Sigma, MBA candidates can give themselves a leg up on the competition when they are looking for corporate jobs.
Best of all, the MBA with a concentration in Six Sigma offers students a high degree of flexibility. Those who live near SNHU's Manchester campus can take classes in person, while those who live further away can make use of the university's extensive online degree program.
